Why I am in love with a Sony Laptop

I tend to speak highly of a Sony laptop over any other mobile computer. I admit it :)- Since the very first of many laptop reviews, I have posted on this site, visitors, family and friends have been asking me the exact reasons behind this bias. Well, I have my reasons and I'll share them with you if you care to read them.

Top 10 reasons. Why I'd choose a Sony Laptop over any other mobile computer:

A Sony laptop is usually slick. The designers seem to have made a decent effort to make sure that the Vaios laptop computers are as cute as they can be. I admit though, Apple laptops are cuter ;)
Trusted Brand name: Sony laptop, Sony Playstation, Sony Digital Camera, Sony Television. From my childhood to now, I have been drawn to Sony products because they have lasted for longer than other makes.
Variety: I study mobile computer users and there's no one on this planet who could not find a perfect Sony laptop to suit his needs. There's the PictureBook for the wannabe James Bond, the GRS series for home users who just need a desktop replacement to the SRX for business travellers who could do with a powerful yet super-light laptop computer.
Wide availability: A good number of online resellers will have a Sony laptop as part in their inventory. This means that you can hop from retailer to retailer doing some laptop comparisons to track down the best deals. These retailers know that too! That's why, they'll compete on price to try and get your business. Who'll be the ultimate winner? You, of course!
Cheap. "Cheap?" I hear you ask. Yes, a Sony laptop can be cheap if you know where to shop. Initially, Sony laptops are highly priced which should not be a worry to non-budget conscious shoppers but for those looking for great deals, I have already discussed how you can score cheap laptops and by that I meant Sony Vaios too.
Prestige: As mentioned, any Sony laptop will usually be more expensive that another computer of its' class (except Apple laptops). This point might not go hand in hand with the previous but please hear me out... If you are a business person and you show up at a presentation, a laptop computer from Sony can boost your image... no wonder they say that first impressions are everything.
User support: A Sony laptop does not come with the usual headaches associated with buying a laptop computer. If you've already purchased a mobile computer from another manufacturer (I dare not mention names), you'll know what I am talking about. Sony laptop technologies are made in a way that you can use your notebook to *easily* (that's the keyword here) communicate with other devices such as digital cameras but no your fridge :o). Not yet, at least! Also, Sony laptos were one of the first to feature DVD writers.
Depreciation: A Sony laptop will not drop in value from the day you first start using it in comparison to other laptops. This means that you can buy it and when you feel the need to upgrade, you can get a reasonable amount of money when you resell it. If you don't believe me, go see how much Sony laptops are going for at eBay.com
Multi-media performance: if you're a graphic artist and even involved in sound editing like I am then you will actually do yourself a favor choosing a Sony laptop over anything else. "Awesome!" is the only thing I can say... Heck, even if you are not a visual artist, take a DVD with you to your nearest computer retailer and play them in different laptops and see for yourself which one impresses you the most. I bet that it will be a Sony Vaio laptop computer.
