The Sony VPC-F133FX, like most of Sony’s F-series laptops, is one of the best all-around entertainment machines on the market. With a 16.4-inch screen, Blu-Ray drive, Intel I7-740QM, 4GB of DD3 RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M graphics card, entertainment is this laptop’s game. Sony designed this for the movie buff in mind, with the laptop even monitoring its audio output to eliminate sudden changes in audio that make using headphones on a laptop such a frustrating experience. The VPC-F133FX’s one drawback is its short (2.5 hours) battery life, but an extended-life battery (approximately 3.25 hours) can be had for a little more than $200. With two USB 3.0 ports as well, this is the perfect entertainment-centered desktop replacement.
