The dm4 is a mainstream laptop with much more panache than the average mid-sized clamshell. The classy aluminum-brushed case sets it apart for starters, as does the i5 processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. It's probably a bit more oomph that the average user needs, but it's actually quite a deal for the price.
