Gateway's middle-tier NV series is fairly standard but reliable nonetheless. For such a discount price you get Intel's Core i3 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. That hard drive is a real steal at this price. Graphics are a bit on the weak side so don't expect any gaming revelations but for the average consumer the NV5936u is a good option.
