The AS5738DG is one of the first in the soon-to-be competitive 3D laptop market.  The laptop's internal hardware isn't anything special but, if you need 3D, you aren't left with a whole lot of other options.  Included is a 2.2ghz Core2Duo, 15.6" Widescreen LED-backlit Display with Integrated TriDef 3D Screen, 4 GB of RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4570 Graphics card and a 320GB Hard Drive.  What this all adds up to is good performance for usual internet usage and support for new games at lowered settings.  For such a typically Acer-cheap price, though, the 3D could be worth the jump.
