Toshiba's Tecra M11 business notebooks just got some new Cores -- i3, i5, and i7, to be exact. These machines look pretty boring on the outside, but you spend all your time in the boardroom and up in Business Class anyway, so who're you trying to impress? This machine has comfortable 14-inch LED-backlit display (why'd they name it the M11?), and as we'd hope for a traveling workstation, the build quality is nice and solid.
Pre-configured options start at $899. That'll get you a Core i3 processor, 32- or 64-bit Windows 7 (and XP for good measure), 2GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB hard drive (7200 RPM), optical drive, webcam, memory card reader, all that good stuff. An extra $130 gets you an i5 processor and 3GB RAM. A bare-bones i7 machines runs $1,179, but what's the point unless you're gonna trick it out? Head over to Toshiba's website for more options
